YOGA BASICS
This hour long class focuses on breathing & healthy alignment. You will practice standing Asanas (poses) as well as seated poses with beginner modifications for all sequences so you can attend even if you are new to yoga. Beginners welcome! In addition to yogic breathing, this class also incorporates relaxation techniques – great for stress relief and overall relaxation. Hot tea & aromatherapy – with essential oils – can be enjoyed after class. We offer this class on Mondays @ 6 pm
YOGA FLOW (VINYASA)
VINYASA OR YOGA FLOW is a practice where postures or Asanas are connected through breath for a transformative and balancing effect. Movement sequences flow from one pose to the next. Classes build heat, endurance, flexibility and strength. The creative sequencing found in a Vinyasa class is often built around Sun Salutations. Although this is an all-levels class, beginner students are welcome.
Our YOGA FLOW classes are offered on Mondays & Tuesdays @ 9 am. The studio will be set at 74 degrees to help you warm up for a great practice. Essential oils, upbeat music and thoughtful meditations accompany these practices. Enjoy a hot cup of tea afterwards.
ALL LEVELS YOGA
ALL LEVELS YOGA combines fundamentals from Yoga Basics with Sun Salutations A & B to relax the mind. A gentle flow style is used to introduce more poses including basic inversions. All level students are welcome. More advanced students will be given more challenging poses.
Our All Level Yoga classes are offered on Saturdays @ 7:45 am.
GENTLE YOGA
If you want a gentler practice, Gentle Yoga is the class for you! Gentle yoga focuses on breath and basic yoga movements with a slower pace. These poses will help improve flexibility, alignment and strength. Gentle Yoga is great for beginners, the experienced yogi who wants a gentler practice and for active older adults. We offer this class on Thursdays @ 10:15 am & Saturdays @ 11:15 am
