Floor-Barre® is a movement and body-awareness technique that utilizes the floor to correct and refine body alignment and address musculoskeletal function. Careful guidance allows students to work from within to apply each movement correctly. The principles are so simple and logical that lasting effects can be realized after just a few classes.
Floor-Barre® accelerates progress in motivated dancers and other athletes, particularly in students who begin training later. It is valued by injured dancers, skaters and others for maintaining conditioning during periods of recovery and rehabilitation, and has been recommended by noted medical professionals.
The method used for this class is the Zena Rommett Floor-Barre Technique® (Floor-Barre®). Julie Nowak will facilitate this class. Private lessons also available by appointment.
