Yoga is an ancient Indian practice that unifies mind, body and spirit through body poses, breathing and meditation. Yoga has been shown to reduce stress, improve strength and posture and help alleviate many other health problems. Some common misconceptions about yoga include the belief that you must be very flexible or strong to practice yoga. However, this is not the case. Yoga poses are more about balance and breathing and the gentle transition between poses that create a full body, mind experience. If practiced on a regular basis yoga will help develop strength and flexibility.
Orinoco Fitness offers a variety of styles, each designed to help you relax & achieve balance.
